EQ settings - Values of the various switch positions.

The D3V features four EQ bands, two of which are linked to the “Position” and “Room” switches.

The “Desk” switch targets two specific frequency ranges:
the lower midrange, to reduce unwanted resonances caused by reflections from the desk surface,
and the upper midrange, to smooth out slightly harsh high frequencies.

Below are the detailed values for each filter setting:

Position

  • Filter type: Low Shelf

  • Corner frequency: 400 Hz

  • Cut: 0 dB, -3 dB, -6 dB

  • Q: 0.707

Desk

Small 

  • Filter type: Bell Filter

  • Center frequencies: 300 Hz and 2000 Hz

  • Cuts: -3 dB and -2 dB

  • Q: 1 and 2

Large 

  • Filter type: Bell EQ

  • Center frequencies: 200 Hz and 1500 Hz

  • Cuts: -6 dB and -4 dB

  • Q: 2 and 2.5

Room

  • Filter type: High Shelf

  • Corner frequency: 6500 Hz

  • Cut: 0 dB, -1.5 dB, -3 dB

  • Q: 0.707
