How well a speaker performs in a room and at a given listening position always depends on the acoustic properties of the space.
For the 2-way monitors A4V, A44H, and A7V, we recommend a minimum listening distance of 0.6 m. The 3-way models in the A-Series are also technically well-suited for shorter distances, thanks to their compact design. That said, they truly come into their own at a listening distance of one meter or more.
The maximum listening distance depends largely on the intended use case and the type of content being played back. At distances greater than 2.5 m, the 3-way models in the S-Series will often be the better fit.
